Rough night, if I'm being honest. Three losses against one winner in the tracked bets — a Period P&L of -£9.88 that I'd rather not dwell on, but here we are, dwellling.

The bright spot: Milwaukee Brewers came through against the Padres at 1.78, banking a tidy +£3.12. The algorithm nodded, the Brewers obliged, lovely stuff. But then FC Sion had the audacity to let me down, and don't even get me started on Bradford City vs Bolton. Seven and a half quid down the drain as Bradford apparently forgot they were supposed to win. -£7.50. My worst loss of the window. Absolutely mugged off by League One football, as is tradition.

The tips were a proper mixed bag — 16 wins, 16 losses, a coin flip dressed up in spreadsheet clothing. Highlights included Gerwyn Price beating van Veen (twice, in fact — the darts gave twice), Scotland beating the USA, and a solid little earner from Largy Force at Perth. On the other hand, the Giro d'Italia threw up two stage-winner tips that went nowhere, and the racing horses collectively decided Thursday was not their day.
